New This Week!

A couple new dish towel images that I'm loving!

Some new necktie silk screens!

And last but not least, I've got a great new silk screen that's perfect for undies for those of us who opt not to procreate but don't want to miss out on the fun part! Right now I've just got men's gitch but I can put this on ladies undies, too!

The fabric is here! The fabric is here!

Well, at least the first shipment of fabric is here! And it's SO AWESOME! Hamburgers, hotdogs, owls, martinis, birds and much more! And I've already made something new with some of it! Check out my sets of 4 fabric sew-on buttons! If you need more than 4 for a project, just let me know and I can make custom ones for you.

Stay tuned for more projects featuring my new fabrics! I'm thinking aprons, purses, pouches, skirts and much more!

One crafty Monday!

I'm BURSTING with creativity and new ideas in 2011, it would seem! I just started making my own sew-on buttons and I'm SO pumped to get all those adorable fabrics in so I can make even more. And if you need custom fabric covered buttons for a project you're working on, bring the fabric and I'll make some up for you. I also bought some fantastic charms that I'm incorporating into my newest design, the necklace headband.

Here are a few more I made today along with some sterling silver hook bike earrings!

I've also been working on some new switch plates too! Most of these are headed off to the Tara Davis Studio Boutique in Nelson, BC but if you see one you like and MUST have, just get in touch with me or come see me at Sew Dandee and I'll make one up for you.

Granny Square Slippers!

The lovely and talented Miss Jenny Henkelman of Buttonvillea brought in four pair of the cutest granny square slippers today! Come on by and check them out!

They fit anywhere from size 6 to size 10!

And I've been working on more of the necklace/headbands, too!

My latest project!

I've developed a new addiction to cute little charms and have decided to try my hand at making some of these necklace/headbands! I use scraps of stretchy knit fabric and braid strips together. Then I add on one or a series of adorable charms and VOILA! And since it's a stretchy fabric you can wear it as a necklace or as a headband with the sweet charms hanging every so cutely! Let me know what you think! I'm still tweaking the idea so keep an eye out for other versions and variations.

It's almost Valentime's!

The sappiest, fakest holiday of the year is just around the corner, folks and of course I've got the most sweet, nasty, thoughtful, rude, offensive cards for you to express how you REALLY feel! Here is just small sample of what I've got in the store right now but don't forget I can make you a custom card too.

And here are just a few other whatever cards.

Jake and Cleo doing good things!

I'm so pumped to be carrying a lovely and eco friendly jewelry line created by two equally lovely people!

Jake and Cleo:
Our .999 fine silver starts with a pat of precious metal clay, which contains 100% reclaimed silver. All scraps, filings and dust are captured to be used in future designs: recycling creates zero production waste.

And the beautiful, unique pieces these ladies come up with are sure to become your all time favourite piece of jewelry to wear. Keeping with their green theme, they often use blades of grass or dill flower to imprint a unique pattern onto their focal pieces making each piece one of a kind.

Come down and check these great designs in person today!

Schwack of new cards!

I've also finally found a bunch of hoodies to silk screen and screened up a bunch of the Louis Slurpee hoodies after selling out over the holidays!
